All videos now available

The title says it all: We have finally finished up on the remaining videos.

You can find them all either linked on the respective event pages in the schedule or in the collection of videos on media.ccc.de (linked to in the menu).

Due to holidays and other things in life, releasing the few remaining videos (mainly concerts, a few workshops and the keynote) took longer than anticipated. We hope they're worth the wait and are sure you will be able to enjoy them!

As this website is going into a read-only mode now, we again encourage any authors to send in presentation slides or additional material, that they wish to have published on their event page as soon as possible (in case this has not already happened).

So long and until next time!

LAC2018 is history

The Linux Audio Conference 2018 is history!

We are very grateful for all the submissions, contributions and volunteers, that once again made this year an amazing event!

Not all videos are cut yet, but a good first batch is available through media.ccc.de already. The rest of them will follow shortly. All presentations and performances, that were streamed will get their video links connected on their respective event pages.

Rui Nuno Capela has once again made available his picture impressions from the conference on his website.
To our sad realization, we have to admit, that the group photo on Saturday did not work out. So if you have memorabilia, that you would like to share, send us your links and we will publish them here!

Note

If you had a presentation or performance in the course of the conference, please make sure to send in any additional material, that you would like to make available through the conference website!

Content content content!

We are getting close!
The VOC setup is deployed and we have a stream destination in place!

All papers have been uploaded to their respective event subpages (in case you want to have a look at them in advance).
Additional content will follow after the presentations and/ or after we receive them from the author(s).
Following a recent trend, we have added our privacy and licensing information.
We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Linux Sound Night at Native Space

We are very grateful for the opportunity to use Native Instruments' Native Space for our Linux Sound Night on Saturday (Day 3).
The company's social space is used by employees and sometimes external meetups alike. It's located not far from c-base, at Schlesische Straße 30, 10997 Berlin.

Note

As the space is located in the backyard of an office area, we are required to take care of a gate to that area (right at Schlesische Straße 30). This means, that visitors of the Linux Sound Night will be let in and out of the area on a ten minute schedule only. Please make sure to be on time for the concerts!

Volunteers at Linux Audio Conference

Dear Linux Audio Conference friends!

We need your support for this year's conference. Currently we are still looking for more volunteers to help us with the following:
If you would like to support us, please provide your mail address and availability to the corresponding dudle instance.

Note

Your e-mail address will only be used by us to communicate with you through a dedicated mailing list, that will be disposed of after the conference.

A short introduction/workshop for the different kinds of tasks will be held on Thursday, 2018-06-07 16:00 (CEST) (two hours before the Welcome Speech).

We would be very thankful, if you could spent some time with us to help with running the conference.

Thanks in advance!
