Computer Scientist, started using Linux around 1994 on Amiga (Linux/m68k), then moved on to x86 hardware.
Got into audio matters at the beginning of the millenium, planning to make some kind of chill-out music with it. However, no real measurable musical output since then, but desperately believing this will happen SomeDaySoonNow(tm).
Co-founder and more-or-less active org member of the Linux Audio Conference (LAC) since its very beginning in 2003.
