Bio: In 1986 got a B.Sc. in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, from Instituto Militar dos Pupilos do Exército (IMPE), Lisbon, Portugal (PT). In 1990 got a M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal (PT), with specialization in Systems and Computers. Consultant and professional programmer since 1986. Certified DBA and IT specialist on IBM DB2 OS/390 since 1995 and IBM DB2 UDB Linux, Unix and Windows, currently the main professional activity, since 2001. An enthusiast hobbyist with particular interest in the open source development of digital audio, MIDI applications and systems tailored on the GNU/Linux platform. A proud member of the linuxaudio.org consortium and primordial author of QjackCtl [1], Qsynth [2], Qsampler and liblscp [3], QXGEdit [4], QmidiNet [5], QmidiCtl [6] and lately the Vee One Suite, synthv1 [7], samplv1 [8] and drumkv1 [9].
