I am a multimedia artist working with independent media projects in central and Southern Mexico since 2000. I live in Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, where I collaborate as a freelance radio (Radio Bilingue, FSRN, Radio Nederland, etc.) and advisor on information technologies for social groups and community radios.

My work is based on the cultural use of free software as a tool and education, experimenting with journalism, radio, video and net art. In 2007 I participated in the screening in Texas and California, of documentary videos related to the popular uprising in Oaxaca in 2006. In 2009 I participated in Network Cultures Congress "Winter Camp" in Amsterdam along with Dyne.org Foundation.

As a member of Dyne.org I explore new forms of distribution of free culture to increase freedom of expression and social change, especially in indigenous communities in Mexico. I am active user and frequent contributor to free networking communities as Hackmitin Mexico, Floss Manuals, Tuxfamily, N-1 and others.
