Session(s)

Conor makes up one half of the London based Sonnamble.
Their music is improvised in real time and is usually made with a 1950s lap steel guitar which is then processed through a series of loopers, analogue filters, and an array of custom made software. We try to make music we'd like to listen to. Conor started the project back in 2008 and has worked mainly with Peter Marsh to produce two well received albums to date.

"... Sonnamble’s approach is an intellectual one, with melody and rhythm alien concepts. Yet these ambient, floating, minimalist soundscapes still have the ability to emote, partially due to the oddly physical nature of the individual elements: they fizz and they fray, they tap and they pop."

Wyndham Wallace - BBC Music 2011 review of Sonnamble's Blindlight
