Education: mathematics and sound engineering. Worked for 10 years at BRTN
(public broadcasting, Belgium) as sound engineer in the music recording
department. Changed to software and electronic engineering, working on
CAD software, Transputers, multiprocessor real-time microkernels, and
the last 10 years DSP and system design at Alcatel-Alenia Space. In 2007
returned to audio, moved to Parma, Italy and organised LAC 2009 there.
Currently audio consultant and running the LABEL studio at la Casa della
Musica, Parma. Interests in Linux Audio concentrate on pro-audio, spatial
audio (Ambisonics and WFS) and measurement applications.
