Staying in Utrecht

Note: early May is festive season in The Netherlands. We advise you not to wait too long before making reservations.

A reasonably priced youth hostel in 10 min walking distance can be found at hostelutrecht.nl

!TIP! --> Hostel Strowis offer budget accommodation, also for groups, at 10 min walking distance from the conference.

A bit out of town at a pleasant location and quite easy to get to by bus or bicycle is this StayOkay hostel that also rents bicycles.

Here is an Utrecht-mini-HOWTO: what to do, where to go, how to get there, where to stay etc...

What's going on in and around Utrecht

In and around Utrecht are several things worth visiting while you're here. Also, the first week of May is packed with festivities like Queen's Night, Queens's Day and Liberation Day which are good fun if you enjoy free open air concerts, flee markets and all sorts of creative initiatives.
We are compiling a list of things to see and do and possibly some excursions.
