Frequency shifted eh? Wouldn't it be cool if you could isolate the two sets of waveforms that were produced from ring modulation, thier frequnecy would be easily controllable and they would have wierd alien timbres. Fortunatly I forgot to mention something earlier, the two copies of the partials that are frequnecy shifted up and down are not the same, the upshifted one is phase shifted by +90 degrees and the downshifted one by -90 degrees. [demo 2] I'm going to repesent this using totally non-standard maths symbols: Which is supposed to mean that when you multiply two signals, c and m (carrier and modulator) you get two sets of output partials [c-m], phase shifted by -90 degrees and [c+m] phase shifted by +90 degrees.
