The OS X Factor
- OS X offers almost everything Linux does, except
for the libre software dimension.
- We can no longer make the claim to be the only
stable, low latency OS.
- Every major audio software vendor will release
OS X versions soon (or later).
But
- OS X is a lot like Linux internally
- They don't have JACK - we may give it to them.
- OS X offers Linux developers a chance to
port software to a market where people
would be more likely to pay for it.
