Why (2) ?


The (professional) audio/video field is 
still dominated by proprietary software.

This is a shame: any creative activity is hindered 
by the lack of freedom that proprietary software 
imposes.   Users cannot enjoy the four basic liberties 
that libre software gives them.

This is not due to lack of professional development
